Who Are We
Josh Kelly is an American football wide receiver for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Hailing from Fresno, California, he attended San Joaquin Memorial High School, where he showcased his versatility with 49 receptions for 859 yards and nine touchdowns, alongside eight interceptions as a junior.
Kelly began his collegiate career at Fresno State (2019–2022), recording 87 receptions for 1,305 yards and four touchdowns over 27 games. He also contributed as a punt returner, amassing 225 yards on 12 returns.
In 2023, Kelly transferred to Washington State, where he made an immediate impact. Notably, in a game against Oregon State, he secured eight receptions for 159 yards and three touchdowns, playing a pivotal role in the Cougars' victory. He concluded the season with 61 receptions for 923 yards and eight touchdowns.
Seeking new opportunities, Kelly transferred to Texas Tech for the 2024 season. In his debut against Abilene Christian, he recorded ten receptions for 156 yards and a touchdown, contributing to the team's win.
Throughout the 2024 season, Kelly has been a consistent offensive threat. In a matchup against West Virginia, he achieved nine receptions for 150 yards, underscoring his role as a key target in Texas Tech's passing game.
As the season concludes, Kelly has announced his decision to forgo Texas Tech's bowl game to prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft, aiming to transition his collegiate success to the professional level.
